The Beginning

A dream worth starting again for

Long before Sensitint, there was a woman who wanted to become a dermatologist. Her interest in skin was personal. She had sensitive skin herself, and she wanted to understand something that affected her own everyday life.

She began studying medicine. Then political circumstances took her across countries, and the credentials she had worked so hard for could not always transfer with her. Progress in one place did not mean she could simply carry on in the next.

She had to restart her medical studies. More than once.

There was no straight path from the beginning to the life she had imagined. But through each new beginning, she kept returning to the same dream: understanding skin and helping people feel more comfortable in theirs.

The Personal Part

When a new product feels like a risk

Away from her studies, she knew the hesitation that can come with sensitive skin. She wanted to enjoy skincare and beauty, but trying something new could feel frightening.

Products that seemed so easy for other people to use could feel too harsh for her. A new bottle brought questions before excitement. Would her skin be comfortable with it? Was it worth trying?

If you have ever wanted to try something and felt afraid of how your skin might respond, you may recognise that feeling. It can make even a small choice feel like a big one.

A Different Experience

Finding a little more comfort

Then she discovered Korean skincare.

After struggling with products she had tried in North America and elsewhere, she began finding Korean formulas that felt more comfortable for her skin. It gave her a gentler way to approach something she had often felt nervous about.

What stayed with her was the possibility of enjoying skincare again. Of being curious about a product, of finding a texture she liked, of making a little room for beauty in her day.

That experience is why Korean skincare has such a personal place at Sensitint. Every person’s skin is different, but the wish to feel comfortable in it is something many of us share.
